Women's Studies at the University of Maryland is an interdisciplinary program of study of women and men in society within both historical and contemporary contexts and from multicultural and multiracial perspectives.
The program:
- Offers BA, MA/Ph.D., minor, and certificate programs
- Includes approximately 50 undergraduate and 30 graduate courses on women
- Promotes research about women across the disciplines
- Has a core department faculty of 10 and more than 90 affiliate faculty housed in other departments who teach cross-listed courses

- Women's Studies - Study Abroad Program
This intensive two-week course introduces students to
the cultural and political landscapes of the Anglophone
Caribbean. We will address questions of transnational
feminist advocacy, Caribbean feminisms, domestic
violence, and reproductive rights in the Anglophone

In this latest memoir his poetic voice is unmistakable as he weaves a lyrical narrative about turning sixty, marriage, fathering, writing and family.
Join us as Miller reads from The 5th Inning and talks about the role of memoir in crafting his own understandings of masculinity.
